Lord Doctor Wingdings Default Gaster

The live remains of what was once the royal scientist, this Gaster is what you get after putting a loving father already seeped in trauma through an interdimensional blender and then strain out whatever fragments of sanity remained. He resembles a giant demonic vulture since his recovery from The Void. Due to what he calls a medical magical condition he has bouts of feral behavior. In truth, he has become a sort of eldritch phoenix. So these are just the instincts of a fledgling demon of The Void.

Despite his body's youth, he has the memories of his former self. This is what makes his condition such a hardship for him. As a demon, he craves the flesh of man, but knows it is wrong to eat people. He lives in the underground, despite the barrier's fall, to avoid falling victim to his instincts. With Snowdin's vast forests brimming with wildlife, he does his best to hunt what bleeds there to sate his endless hunger.

He is extremely overprotective of his children and will take in anything vaguely child shaped to stave off an empty nest. Townsfolk half joke about him stealing away your first born if you aren't careful in dealings with him. The local kids know to avoid areas cloaked in an unnatural darkness when playing in the woods. Even with all of this, his taking charge in leading the town of Snowdin has led to those who stayed behind there being much more comfortable.
